What is a portfolio?

Your portfolio is the collection of different financial instruments like stocks and ETFs which you have invested in for the purpose of generating returns over time. The investing.one app presents all relevant info about the portfolio you've built in a summarized and comprehensive way, making keeping track of your investments easier than ever.

The first thing you’ll see in your Portfolio tab is your account value. Below it, there’s a breakdown of it, which will tell you how much of its overall value is invested in instruments, how much is blocked, due to pending orders, and how much of it is still free funds, ie. Buying power. Right under your Account value you will also be able to see how your portfolio is performing at the current moment - whether your investments have grown or gone down in value. This will be displayed by a green or red percentage, respectively, as well as the actual amount gained or lost, giving you a clear indication of the entire portfolio’s performance at a glance.

The next section of your Portfolio tab shows the full list of your investments. It displays the amount of funds invested, the number of shares bought, and how they are all performing individually.

Scrolling down, you will see a chart dedicated to your portfolio’s performance. The graph will show how the portfolio is doing now, as well as allow you to check it’s growth over time.

Below this chart is your list of pending orders. If you have any, they will be displayed here, along with information about the specific type of order and the number of shares it is for.

The last section of your Portfolio tab holds charts on your Exposures. This refers to the percentage of your entire portfolio, that is invested in a particular instrument (stocks or ETFs), sector, or country. You can use these charts to keep track of the amount of funds you stand to lose due to the risks particular to any of the investments in those three categories. It will also show you the performance of your portfolio in these specific groups.
