How to verify my investing.one account?

The verification of your trading account is an essential part of your investing journey with almost every broker out there. Each licensed firm is obligated to perform standard KYC (know your customer) procedures to ensure that you are meeting the regulatory and market requirements. Although it sounds complicated and annoying, we've made the verification process smooth, easy and secure, so you should never worry about your personal details being leaked or lost.

To complete the verification of your account, we will need a photo of a valid ID, a selfie and a proof of address document confirming your current address.

First thing first, let's start with your ID.

• Choose the type of document you want to upload.
• Take a photo of your ID or upload an already existing one.
• Make sure that all the details on it are clearly visible.
• Submit.

Selfie time. Along with your ID, a real-time selfie will be needed to complete the identity check.

• Find a good light (facing a light source might help).
• Say cheese/Smile.
• Take the photo and submit it for verification.

Once both photos are submitted, the verification usually takes just a few minutes. On rare occasions, this might take up to 24 hours.

Almost done. As soon as your ID and selfie are successfully verified, we will need a document confirming your current residence (full list of acceptable documents can be found below) :

• Choose the type of document you want to upload.
• Take a photo of the document/upload an already existing one or a PDF file.
• Make sure the document contains your personal details, address and is not older than 6 months.
• Submit it for verification

Similar to the ID verification, the check usually takes just a few minutes, however, sometimes it might take a bit longer - up to 24 hours.
