Choosing and buying your first stocks.
We offer a wide range of instruments with an ever expanding list. We aim to provide you with as many options as possible in terms of stocks and ETFs. By doing so, you will have the opportunity to create a diverse portfolio, which will prepare you for the future.
However, every success story needs a start and this is yours.
We have developed our app to easily follow all the current trends on the market. On the home screen you can see your watchlists, the latest financial news and the top picks of the day. This is only scratching the surface. You can find far more information and statistics in the "Discover" at the top right of the home screen.
There you can find the most popular stocks, the highest paying dividend ones, collections based on certain statistics. The same is for ETFs - most popular, ordered by fund size and etc.
Both stocks and ETFs can be sorted by sector and country. Of course if you prefer to only search instruments by name, you can do so from the search tab above.
Each instrument is equiped with a plethora of statistics, analysis and information to assist you with choosing the correct one for your portfolio.
When you select a stock you will be able to see its price range. This includes the price range for 1 day up to 1 year. If you swipe up you will see the financial data of the company. Earning reports, revenue, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, everything. Every bit of information you would need is there.
If you swipe one more time, you will find the latest news regarding the company. After an additional swipe you will find the price target analysis and after one more you have the analyst ratings. At the very bottom you can see the general information of the company.
After you have found your desired stock, it's time to act. Buying a stock is simple. When you press on an instrument, you will immediately see a buy button at the bottom right. When you press it you will be given a couple of options.
You first have to decide what type of order you want to make - Market or Limit/Stop. You can change your order type by tapping on the button on the right side of the price. If you choose Market, your order will be executed on the current price. A Limit order will execute if the stock value falls to a preset price, while a Stop order is the opposite. It will execute when the stock value goes up to a prespecified price.
After deciding your order type, you can either enter the monetary value of the shares you wish to buy or their exact number.
When you have set the desired order parameters and tap on "Next", you will see an order summary. The moment you confirm it your order will be forwarded for execution.
This is done through the portfolio tab. From there you tap on the instrument, which you want to sell, and a new window will open. It will show you the same parameters as for when you are buying a stock. You will again be asked to choose the order type and the monetary value or number of shares you wish to sell. Then tap on next, confirm your trade summary and your order will be placed.
Always keep in mind that the prices you see are indicative and represent the last quote received from the market. In the short timeframe between placing your order and executing it, the price may slightly change.
